Susan Mann
About
Susan Mann began work at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation in July 2008 and leads the global learning and development team. She has more than 30 years of leadership and HR/OD experience in profit and not-for-profit settings. Susan oversees talent development at the Gates Foundation, including coaching and a year-long cohort leadership and management program called “Gear Up,” which was recognized for excellence by the ICF Washington State chapter. Other recognition for Susan’s work includes serving as a Fulbright specialist at the New University of Lisbon in Portugal and receiving a Quality in Human Resource Practice award from College and University Professional Association-HR for designing a pioneering leadership development program. Susan earned her BA in psychology from the University of Washington and MS in management from Antioch University. She holds her credentials as an ICF coach and a Global Professional in Human Resources, and has presented at numerous national, regional, and global conferences.
