Known as Your Learning, the platform is defined by IBM as a virtual gathering place where needs, ideas, and content are easily exchanged, unlike the top-down pipelines that comprise conventional learning management systems. It is IBM’s answer to the widely perceived “global skills development dilemma” resulting from the growth of digital technologies.

Your Learning is an internally marketed brand that is recognized and employed daily by 362,000 “IBMers,” reports Gordon Fuller, the company’s vice president of global learning and enablement and its chief learning officer.

The scalable platform delivers a personalized learning environment that is laser-targeted to each individual by job role, business unit, and expertise level. There, they can search and browse among customized learning channels, converse with far-flung colleagues, and tap valuable resources of information and expertise.
