Amy Shilliday is a training and development professional for Macmillan Learning. She has been practicing in the field for nearly 18 years, is a member of her local chapter and ATD National, and recently attained the CPLP designation. In her spare time, Amy enjoys activities that allow her to stop talking, such as reading, cooking, and touring local wineries.

Amy Shilliday, CPTD, has more than 25 years of experience in L&D. With a down-to-earth facilitation style and self-effacing humor, Shilliday coaches on topics such as emotional intelligence, change management, and conflict resolution. She also helps newer L&D professionals hone their craft and deliver exceptional experiences for their learners, whether in person or in virtual classrooms.Shilliday’s current research focuses on creating empathetic learning experiences for neurodivergent learners. Her goal is to foster neuro-equity in the learning environment as well as to support managers in their efforts to attract and retain neurodivergent talent.
