Principal | The Impact Institute

Christie is Principal of the Impact Institute, a consulting firm that helps clients with interpersonal communication skills, team skills, leadership skills and presentation skills. She deals with real issues, asks tough questions and helps teams create real results that boost performance and create more profit. She has earned her CSP (Certified Speaking Professional) designation from the National Speakers Association and works in both the public and private sectors. A recent repeat participant in one of her sessions said, "Attend one of Christie's sessions; they are incredibly valuable. "Another participant said, "Christie is authentic, dynamic and worthwhile."Christie served in several capacities on the board for the Rocky Mountain chapter of ATD, was appointed to NAC in 2008 and served on the ATD National Board of directors from 2011-2012. She has spoken at ICE and Internationally for ATD: in Sao Paulo, Mumbai, Bangalore, Taipei, Beijing and Singapore. Christie chaired the ICE PAC in 2016 for the ICE Conference in Denver, CO. She keynoted a Core4 Conference in 2019. Prior to starting her own business in the 1990's, she was director of Training at CareerTrack Seminars. She has taught every grade in the public education system, including Community college students and understands learning and how it is transferred. She is active in her community of Denver by helping disadvantaged youth prepare for college interviews in a partnership with Goodwill and the Denver Chamber of Commerce. She also judges a speech contest for abused children to find their voices at the Tennyson Center for Children. Globally, she serves on the board for Together, We Can Change the World, a non-profit dedicated to the education and empowerment of women and children in SE Asia. She is a leader on and off the platform.
