His favorite two mantras are, “Training is always about the learner, never about the trainer,” and “Make myself obsolete; to do my job so well that the learners master their new skills.” Dave is the CEO of LiveToSpeak where he works with individuals, non-profits, and corporate employees to become the best public speakers they can. Dave also trains them on the ROI methodology of great public speaking success. Dave is a Certified Dale Carnegie Coach and a former member of the Vermont Chapter of the ASTD Board of Directors. He was a speaker at the 2011 ASTD International Conference and Expo in Orlando, FL. Dave is also a published poet and songwriter.

Adelman's experience includes creating comprehensive, branded, measurable training processes for organizations that are integrated with the talent management process, address performance gaps, and minimize costs while maximizing return on investment. He is currently a relationship manager with TrainingPros, president of Adelman Training Solutions, and a director of community relations with Atlanta ATD.
