Dr. Cameron Harris joined George Mason in fall 2015. He has worked in higher education for seven years in a variety of roles including instructor, assistant director of leadership and professional development, and student development specialist. Prior to pursuing a career in higher education, Harris worked for the federal government as an HR administrator.

Dr. Leila Austin is associate professor at George Mason University’s School of Business where she teaches interdisciplinary courses on business-society relations and the global environment of business. She is also a faculty affiliate of the Business for a Better World Center where she co-directs the undergraduate Social Impact Fellows program and is faculty advisor for the program’s affiliate “Be the Change” student organization. Austin served on the school’s Diversity, Inclusivity and Belonging task force and is directly involved in Inclusive Teaching for Equitable Learning curricular revisions in the Business Foundations Area where she is a Dean’s Teaching Faculty Fellow.

Dr. Ajay Vinzé is dean of GMU School of Business, George Mason University.Dr. Vinzé comes to Mason from the University of Missouri, where he was Dean of the Trulaske College of Business from January 2017. Prior to his work at Mizzou, he was the Earl and Gladys Davis Distinguished Professor of Business in the Department of Information Systems at the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University. In addition to a stellar research record, his 18-year career at Arizona State includes assignments as Associate Dean for International Programs, Associate Vice Provost for Graduate Education, Director of the Executive MBA Program and the Management Information Systems Doctoral Program, as well as the Founding Director of the Technology Research Center. Before joining the faculty at Arizona State, he spent 10 years at Texas A & M University as both an Assistant and Associate Professor (with tenure).During his time as dean at the Trulaske College of Business, he focused on situating the college among leading business schools nationally and internationally by significantly enhancing the research profile of the college and offering innovative programs that were market responsive and delivered both in traditional settings and in online or hybrid formats. Dr. Vinzé is credited with a number of forward-thinking innovations in the eLearning space and has innovated with experiential learning, micro-credentialing, and stackable certificates. Moreover, he raised over $30M in philanthropic giving during his time with the college.Dr. Vinzé is a Fulbright Senior Specialist and a global citizen, having lived, worked or traveled through more than 70 countries over the past three decades.

He has worked with senior leadership teams in government, not-for-profit, and commercial organizations. Dr. Appleby is an adjunct faculty member at The George Washington University where he teaches courses in organizational development and action learning.

Dr. Jacquelyn D. Brown is the chair of Business Foundations and Dean's Teaching Faculty Fellow in the School of Business at George Mason University, where she also teaches professionals skills courses. She was recently awarded the AY2022-2023 Curriculum Impact Grant for The Business of Diversity, along with colleague Cameron Harris, and has received teaching awards, such as the Outstanding Business Foundations Faculty and Outstanding Contributions to Teaching.
