Russ Spaulding is a Learning Strategist with the Defense Intelligence Agency’s (DIA) Office of Learning and Career Development. He has over 28 years of learning and development experience within the Department of Defense. He began his career as a naval intelligence officer supporting an electronic warfare squadron aboard the USS Enterprise aircraft carrier for two nine-month deployments to the Western Pacific and Indian Ocean. After performing as a current intelligence analyst for the Secretary of Defense and Joint Chiefs of Staff, he has spearheaded reserve training efforts as Officer-in-Charge for Reserve Intelligence Training Programs at NAS South Weymouth Massachusetts, implemented the Post Graduate Intelligence Programs for Reserves at the National Defense Intelligence College while serving on the teaching faculty; coordinated reserve training for the Naval Criminal Investigative Service; and served as the focal point for the talent management of over 400 reserve intelligence personnel supporting DIA's 2 Directorate for Analysis as a Reserve Liaison Officer. Numerous military awards include three Defense Meritorious Service medals. In a civilian capacity, he has performed as a senior program manager in DIA's Office of the Chief Financial Executive focusing on the assessment and evaluation of performance-based budgeting before taking positions as a senior instructor and learning development specialist in DIA's Office for Learning and Career Development. In these roles, he has received numerous special act awards. He holds a masters degree in National Security Studies from Georgetown University along with facilitator certificates from the Goldratt Institute, the Pacific Institute and FranklinCovey. Brandon Carson is vice president of learning and leadership at Walmart. He is an innovative learning strategist with extensive experience leading corporate global learning programs and teams in environments as varied as startups, tech companies, retail, and transportation.He has delivered various engaging presentations and workshops at industry events. Under Brandon’s leadership, his employers have been honored with several industry awards, including the ATD BEST Award, the Learning Guild People's Choice Award, and three Brandon Hall Awards for best custom learning design.He has also served on the board of the North American Simulation and Gaming Association (NASAGA) and ATD’s committee for the TechKnowledge conference. Brandon Carson

Matthew Mueller is the director of learning and development (L&D) for Hilton Worldwide, and has more than 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry. As the director of L&D, he works within the Commercial Services College of Hilton Worldwide University, supporting multiple schools, including global marketing, digital, and global products. His responsibilities involve consulting with departmental leaders and designing and deploying blended learning curricula. Matthew is certified in Emergenetics and various Franklin Covey courses. He has a Certified Meeting Professional designation and served as an ATD Forum Advisory Group member in 2012 and 2013.

Chris Ross has been a performance consultant, trainer, lecturer and presenter for over 30 years. He owns The Engagement Effect, a multi-discipline training and consulting firm with over clients throughout North America.  The Engagement Effect provides solutions in performance improvement, leadership and supervisory development, employee selection and engagement, strategic planning, and risk management. He has worked with over 800 organizations. Ross has earned professional certification in Workplace Learning and Performance (CPLP) through ATD and is additionally recognized by the Board of Certified Safety Professionals as a Certified Safety Professional (CSP).  Ross has presented over a thousand training classes, workshops, seminars, keynote speeches and presentations. He facilitated hundreds of workshops for FranklinCovey, DiSC and is a Master Trainer for Development Dimensions International. Additionally he travels throughout the US and Canada as an Implementation Specialist for SafeStart, a division of Electrolab Training Systems.  A frequent contributor and columnist for “Alaska Contractor,” “Council Prospector,” and numerous other publications; he also authored a piece for the recently published book, “Consultant Business Development Guide: Starting and Succeeding with a SH&E Consulting Practice.”

Frank Nguyen is a learning executive who specializes in transforming learning organizations through strategy and technology. He has led enterprise learning for Fortune companies including AIG, Amazon, American Express, Intel, and Sears. Nguyen has published extensively on the intersection of e-learning, instructional design, and performance support. He is a recipient of the Learning Guild Master and the ISPI Distinguished Dissertation awards. His work on compliance training, learning strategy, business transformation, and technology have been recognized by Brandon Hall and Chief Learning Officer. Nguyen has served on a variety of learning industry committees for Adobe, ATD, BJET, Brandon Hall, eLearning Guild, and ISPI.
