In prior lives, Heather was a peace and security researcher in Hamburg, Germany, an English teacher in China and, for one summer, a wrangler on a dude ranch in Colorado. She holds a master’s degree in international affairs from Columbia University and a bachelor’s degree in history from Princeton University. Heather Gilmartin Adams

Heather MacNeill began her career in sales, working heavily in the corporate software and technology space. She transitioned to a marketing role while working for InsightSoftware.com in London. MacNeill joined BlueBottleBiz, a collaborative learning platform for business professionals, as head of communications in April 2016. She is a technology-focused marketing executive with more than 15 years of international experience. Heather MacNeil

Heather began her training career at a U.S. national retail chain while getting a degree in architecture from University of Texas. The chain’s philosophy was that everyone should be a trainer of colleagues and customers to increase sales through product knowledge and better customer service. After several years, she found herself working at the corporate headquarters managing the wholesale department. Training remained a large part of Heather’s responsibilities; however, now she was responsible for training other retailers how to sell, install, and design storage solutions with store products. After a successful run at this, she became the U.S. director of education for a technology company where she developed, delivered, and supported all levels of knowledge and skills for a staff of more than 700. The training programs consisted of proprietary software solutions, Salesforce.com, leadership development, and customer service competencies. Recently, Heather moved to a consultancy firm specializing in administration and training for Salesforce.com. Heather is an ATD Master Trainer and Master Human Performance Improvement Consultant. She also holds many other certifications, including a T3 in SPIN Selling and Coaching Techniques, Talent Development Reporting Principles, Change Management, and Salesforce.com Administrator.

As vice president of marketing, Heather Muir directs Mandel’s marketing, branding, and communications strategies in collaboration with the Executive Team. In addition, Heather leads Mandel’s public- and industry-relations activities. Prior to joining Mandel in 2010, Heather held several marketing and communications roles within the learning and training industry. Heather holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Davis, and has completed graduate courses in business and entrepreneurship at the University of Washington.

As founder of Enclaria LLC, Heather Stagl helps individuals and teams to push the boulder uphill at work. She provides a number of resources for those who are leading organizational change from the middle, including individual coaching, team workshops, and step-by-step workbooks. Heather is a blogger and radio host of "The Change Agent's Dilemma: How to Influence Change Without Authority" on BlogTalkRadio. Heather is also the author of 99 Ways to Influence Change and a change management toolkit called Irresistible: The Change Agent's Guide to Design & Influence Change Without Getting Stuck. She has implemented a wide variety of strategic initiatives as an internal change agent, including IT systems, a process improvement program, and strategy execution with the Balanced Scorecard Institute. She was the director of organizational effectiveness at The Jel Sert Company, a mid-size food manufacturer headquartered in the Chicago suburbs.
