Josh Davis is the director of research and lead professor for the NeuroLeadership Institute. He guides the institute’s work in translating basic science research for business and leadership use, and drives strategy for new research content. He lectures frequently at the NeuroLeadership Institute and at conferences and organizational events worldwide. He received a bachelor’s degree from Brown University and a PhD from Columbia University. His career began in engineering; from there, he made the transition to academic teaching and research on the mind and brain. He has received funding from the National Science Foundation, and has taught at New York University, Columbia University, and Barnard College. His written work on management and productivity has appeared in Harvard Business Review, P eople & Strategy, strategy+business, TD, the Huffington Post, the NeuroLeadership Journal—which he co-edits—and Psychology Today. He is the author of the book Two Awesome Hours: Science-Based Strategies to Harness Your Best Time and Get Your Most Important Work Done.

Holly Harrington serves as the senior level adviser and deputy director of the Office of Public Affairs. In this position, she provides guidance to agency leadership and helps direct a staff of 13 professionals. In addition, Holly oversees the agency’s five social media platforms, and manages the Nuclear Regulatory Commission’s crisis communications program. Previously, she held senior public affairs positions at the Federal Emergency Management Agency and the Department of Veterans Affairs. Holly holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism (reporting and editing) and a master’s degree in mass communications, both from San Jose State University.

Barry Posner is the Accolti Endowed Professor of Leadership at the Leavey School of Business, Santa Clara University, where he also served as dean of the school for 12 years. He has been a distinguished visiting professor at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Sabanci University (Istanbul), University of Western Australia,and the University of Auckland. At Santa Clara, he has received the President’s Distinguished Faculty Award, the School’s Extraordinary Faculty Award, and several other teaching and academic honors. ABarry received ATD's highest award for Distinguished Contribution to Workplace Learning and Performance. He has authored or co-authored more than 100 research and practitioner-focused articles, and more than a dozen books on leadership. He currently serves on the editorial advisory board for the Leadership & Organizational Development Journal and the International Journal of Servant-Leadership, and received the Outstanding Scholar Award for Career Achievement from the Journal of Management Inquiry. Barry received a BA with honors in political science from the University of California, Santa Barbara; an MA in public administration from The Ohio State University; and a PhD in organizational behavior and administrative theory from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Having consulted with a wide variety of public and private sector organizations worldwide, Barry also works at a strategic level with a number of community-based and professional organizations. He has served on the board of directors of Uplift Family Services, Global Women’s Leadership Network, American Institute of Architects, SV Creates, Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Santa Clara County, Center for Excellence in Nonprofits, Junior Achievement of Silicon Valley and Monterey Bay, Public Allies, San Jose Repertory Theater, Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity, and several publicly traded and startup companies.
