Employee Retention Woes Subsided

Laura Hackett is the Sr Director-Learning and Development for MillerCoors. Laura leads the L&D function for the company as well as MillerCoors University which is based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The Learning and Development team is comprised of Learning Operations; experts in adult learning theory, instructional design and delivery and evaluation, Learning Leads; functional experts with distinguished careers in their particular field who come into Learning and Development to lead development and delivery of the functional learning plan. Prior to this role Laura was the Director of Commercial Learning and Development for MillerCoors where she successfully led the design and implementation of a new customer management and selling discipline. Prior to her career in learning Laura had a successful commercial career with Miller Brewing Company.

Laura Asiala is the vice president of public affairs at PYXERA Global. Passionate about the power of business to help solve the world’s most intransigent problems, she leads the efforts to attract more participation of businesses to contribute to sustainable development through their people and their work. Prior to working for PYXERA Global, Laura was director of corporate citizenship at the Dow Corning Corporation. Her 30-year career in international business has included roles in HR, business development, finance, marketing, branding, communications, and corporate social responsibility. Laura oversaw CSR and talent development strategies, including the company’s public-private partnership with the Global Alliance for Clean Cookstoves (a UN Foundation, U.S. State Department, and Clinton Global Initiative) and the company’s international action learning program. She holds an MS in organizational development from Case Western Reserve University.

There are many times in our day-to-day work that we are confronted with a challenge, but we miss the opportunity.
