Rich Thompson serves as senior director of global research at The Myers-Briggs Company where he supervises and directs ongoing revisions, extensions, and development of psychological assessments and associated services. He also serves as a member of the company's corporate strategic planning team, and has co-authored two volumes of Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® (MBTI®) Type Tables based on commercial data. With more than 2 decades in psychology, Rich has also served as a research scientist for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). He earned his Masters and Ph.D. in Psychology, with a minor in management, from Texas Tech University.
